Khatami condemns Israel attacks on Gaza Flotilla

The president of the International Institute for the Dialogue of Cultures and Civilisations stressed that, “I am in a state of profound shock that human rights organisations and institutions like the International Criminal Court, although they are witness to the tremendous crimes of the usurper regime [the State of Israel], which crimes are the clearest of examples of crimes against humanity, are yet to act against these criminals and put them on trial.”
Proof of Islam and of the Muslims Seyyed Mohammad Khatami, during a meeting with a number of women academics and educators, while congratulating them on the eve of the birth of Holy Fatimah al-Zahra [daughter of the Prophet of Islam and wife of Imam Ali] (peace be upon her), stated that, “first of all I deem it necessary to declare on my own behalf, and on behalf of you, learned women, and on behalf of all the free women and men of Iran, my horror at the shameful calamity which took place international waters close to Gaza.”
