We approaching the anniversary of Imam [Khomeini.] As usual we wanted to hold speeches, organize rallies and travel to the provinces. Unfortunately, last year’s election and the unseen cases fraud had series of unfortunate incidents for our country. I believe, like many others, that the mood that those events had set are going to continue and disrupt the usual ceremonies for the anniversary of departure of Imam. Of course, presence of people on that magnificent day is great and very important, but events that followed after the election has definitely left their stain on these ceremonies. Zionist regime’s inhuman act of attacking the humanitarian aid convoy to Gaza caused great sorrow around the world. This behavior is caused by the Zionist regime’s inhuman and unjust nature. This regime has become so weak that it fears the smallest humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people. This act will further weaken the regime and make it despisable in the international community.

I hereby condemn this action and ask the international community, human right organizations, and the security council to take a clear stance against this inhuman regime and make practical decisions in condemning and punishing it for these actions.

Khatami condemns Israel attacks on Gaza Flotilla

The president of the International Institute for the Dialogue of Cultures and Civilisations stressed that, “I am in a state of profound shock that human rights organisations and institutions like the International Criminal Court, although they are witness to the tremendous crimes of the usurper regime [the State of Israel], which crimes are the clearest of examples of crimes against humanity, are yet to act against these criminals and put them on trial.”

Kalemeh: We are approaching the anniversary of the departure of Imam [Khomeini.] This year the ceremonies seem different from previous years. On one side old opponents of Imam inside and outside the country try to desecrate his image and they are supported by foreign media. On the other side, there are those in State TV and the strong advocates of imprisonments that promote and image of the Imam that advocated oppression. What is your opinion on the goals that these groups seek? And what may this end with?

If the unintended collaboration of the State TV and opponents of Imam in desecration of his image is allowed to continue and is not responded to, it would end with nothing but hatred towards our past. Karoubi’s Interview with Jaras

Mir Hossein Mousavi , Mehdi Karoubi and Mosen Rezaie , the three candidates of June 2009 Iran presidential election were among many people who faced with irregularities in vote counting procedures and expulsion of their representative from polling stations objected to the official results announced by Ministry of Interior. Among them Mohen Rezayi withdrew his protest when Supreme Leader approved the election process and the results. However since last year Mr Karoubi and Mousavi have maintained their positions and have not recognized Ahmadinejad as the legitimate president of the country.

In the course of last year, positions and views of Mr Karoubi and Mousavi , the leading figures of Iran’s protest movement were only published through statements, speeches, meetings and interviews with reformist websites inside Iran and number of foreign journalists. For unknown reasons so far neither Mr Mousavi nor Mr karboui have had an interview with an Iranian media outside Iran.

Mousavi’s Important Speech to Veterans Association: “No. This is not Islam”

Kaleme: A group of veterans from the Islamic Revolution and [Iran-Iraq] war visited the prime minister of Iran under Ayatollah Khomeini [Mr. Mir Hossein Mousavi]. Mousavi made some important statements during this meeting.
Based on Kaleme’s report, Mir Hossein Mousavi began by thanking the veterans, and added: “You veterans of our struggle are committed to principles and values and care deeply about solving our country’s problems [with humility]. You don’t want any ranks and positions for yourselves. You do not pursue any personal interests [as you serve the country], and you don’t want to take advantage of the situation for you own benefits. This is why your opinions and thoughts are important, particularly since you are rooted in the revolution and you miss the enlightened and spiritual atmosphere that the revolution promised us and you are still in pursuit of such an environment.
